L’or is a very loyal man, and would lay down his life for that of anyone in Antaris Weyr. He might not be as serious as Hinorath, but he is still pretty serious. All he really wants to do with his life is protect his home and everyone, and everything, with in it. He isn’t actually as cold hearted as most would think after a first impression of him, but he is pretty calculating, and thinks everything through before he speaks or does anything. Well, he tries to anyways, cause let’s face it. He’s a male, and as such he as quite a few male impulses, especially when it comes to very pretty women. He’s been told that that characteristic of his isn’t very appealing so he tries to keep himself under control. So far he’s been doing a pretty good job of it, but he still has a very long road ahead of him.
Despite the fact that L’or is a king rider, he likes to have a good time with those he considers his friends. Which most of them would tell you that he is a very trustworthy and respectful person, but there are times when he hits the drinks a little hard during certain…festivities…that those traits just fly out the window! Which is why he tries to avoid those situations at all costs, so don’t be surprised if you have a fight on your hands if you asked him to go to a party. He doesn’t like to be ignored, and will hold grudges against people for ignoring him. He also doesn’t like bullies, and believes that anyone that needs to pick on someone smaller than themselves should go between and never come out. He himself would like to “escort” a few of them to their ends, but has enough self-control to keep that between himself and his dragon.

Tiger Stripes: BEBEBE Gray
Bonded's Size in Feet: 75ft.
Bonded's Age: 4 Turns
Bonded's Personality:
Hinorath is a very proud king, and is also very serious. He isn’t the type of dragon to go around playing games. Instead he would rather be out training, and strengthening himself so that he could be better prepared to defend his Weyr and his Queens. He can typically be found either soaring around in the skies above Antaris Weyr or sitting on the Weyrheights watching out for trouble. Despite all of his seriousness, he likes to be able to help everyone and anyone. Even though it might come to a surprise to most people, he likes to be a part of candidate, and even weyrling lessons when he is allowed to. He wishes to help train the next generation of dragon’s and riders to defend their home, and everyone within it. But don’t misunderstand this, he definitely isn’t a dragon that likes to go out and have what most would call…fun.
Bonded's Appearance:
Hinorath is seventy-five feet long, which means he is a very, very big dragon. He carries himself with great pride and dignity. His white wings are always kept at his sides, but he holds them about a foot away from his dark gray body. His long tail is always held high whenever he stands, and whenever he sits or lies down it is laid neatly around his side to make sure that it is kept out of the way. He has an almost solid dark gray hide, the only marking to dare make an appearance on this kings hide are typical gray colored tiger stripes that range all the way from the tip of his muzzle, to the tip of his tail. He keeps his claws and fangs sharp so they are always ready when he needs to use them to defend his Weyr, and his Queens. In all he does his best to make himself look like the king he knows he really is.
Mind-Voice:
Come Mine, we have duties that need to attend to directly.
Hinorath's voice is strong, confidant, and full of pride. It is a voice of a king, and demands that whomever he is talking to, listens to him with their full attention. His strong voice doesn't really leave much room for arguement because it leaves a person with the impression that something terrible will happen if they don't listen to him. But because he is just a Grayscale King, his voice doesn't really have much power over the Gold and Grayscale Queens of the Weyr, but that doesn't mean he won't try once in a while.
History
Lior was born to the Master Chef of Renegade Camp Weyr, and a bronze rider that happened to corner her after a queen’s flight eighteen turns ago. Neither him nor his mother much cared about the man that made her conceive, but were both quite happy with their lives. At least, they were for the first thirteen turns of Lior’s life. That’s when he realized that he didn’t exactly agree with the beliefs of Renegade Camp Weyr, but instead, learned that he approved more of the beliefs of Antaris Weyr. Him and his mother had many, many arguments over this, but there was nothing the poor woman could have done to prevent what was to come within the next turn of the young man’s life. Though, it was sure to surprise her, and to all of Renegade Camp Weyr really.
Lior wasted almost no time in packing his things, and sneaking out of the Weyr. He was headed straight for Antaris Weyr, and hoped with every fiber of his being that they would accept him, and let him join their ranks. He was still young, and had a lot to learn, but the young man could cook, and he was almost positive that that talent of his could be put to use for his new home one way or another. Thankfully he was allowed to speak with the Weyrleader of Antaris, and he was almost beside himself when the man said he could stay as long as he worked hard in the kitchens to help provide food for the Weyr. He was quickly shown to where he would be staying from then on out, and then was shown to the kitchen where he would work until his fingers were ready to bleed.
It wasn’t long after Lior’s fourteenth birthday that there was a dragon hatching. He was allowed to sit in the stands since it was his first ever hatching. He was so excited that it was practically radiating off of him in huge waves. Because he was so excited, he elected to stand beside the stands instead of trying to sit in them and bugging everyone around him about what was going on. He watched with huge eyes as the first two eggs hatched. The first was a very, very large grayscale, and the second was a very large bronze. He gasped, and was petrified when it looked as though the two of them were going to try to rip each other’s throats out right there on the hatching sands. He didn’t want to be mean to the little bronze, but he would have put his money on the larger male if a fight had broken out.
Lior was amazed when the large grayscale snorted at his smaller brother and started to make his way over to where the candidates stood. As though the large bronze hadn’t wanted to be outdone by his larger sibling, he ran over to where the male candidates where standing, and impressed so quickly that it made Lior’s head spin, and he was sure that it had done the same thing to the young man the bronze had chosen. The grayscale seemed pleased with himself, as though his brother’s rash decision was all part of his master plan. But now it was his turn to impress, and he seemed as though he had already made up his mind of who he would choose to be his rider. The large hatchling’s choice was sure to surprise quite a few people, and spin more than a few heads.
Come Mine, it seems we have to clean up after that brother of mine. The grayscale’s strong voice sounded like someone was beating a drum inside of his head. He fell to his knees, and wasn’t all that surprised when more than one healer had to help lift him back on his feet. During that time the large male had been slowly making his way over to where his rider was now, once again, standing. He gently pushed his head under the young man’s hand and crooned lightly. Lior smiled from ear to ear as he started to scratch the large male’s eye ridges. Because Hinorath was so large, he didn’t have to bend over to reach the male’s eye ridges, which excited him. I guess this means that We have to get you food huh? Hinorath snorted and gave his rider an exasperated look.
The two of them have grown quite considerably since that moment; after all, it’s been four turns since L’or impressed Hinorath. Now the two of them are striving to climb the ranking ladder, though, that is mainly because of Hinorath’s determination to be Weyrking, and prove he is better than the bronzes that people think of so highly. He wants to prove that grayscales truly area the kings of the Weyr. Whereas L’or is just happy to be a Wingleader, and be of service to his Weyr, and his Weyrwoman. But of course, he just can’t say no to his life partner. There is one thing that is always at the back of their minds. They can’t forget what the gold rider Eliitra and her dragon Beth have done to Antaris Weyr. They have turned their backs on their home, and have joined the Renegades. That’s something that doesn’t sit well with this king pair.
That is a hard thing for L’or and Hinorath to swallow, but is harder for the young man. This being that he had once loved the woman, and to be completely honest, he still does. But it had always seemed that Eliitra had never even known he was alive, instead she had feelings for another king rider pair. So it should be pretty obvious that the two pairs don’t really get a long, and it is hard for L’or to sit in the same room for very long with An’sif. Hinorath has never had much of a problem with the man’s dragon Baysath. But he is loyal to his rider, and will not hesitate to show his distrust for the pair. So it should come to no surprise that the two of them are very suspicious of An’sif and Baysath, and keep their eyes on them because they believe that they will also betray Antaris Weyr one day, and when that day comes L’or and Hinorath want to be ready, they want to be there to hopefully take them out.
