D’rian of Greyscale Ansieth
Username: Jillian
Character Number: 1
Name: Dalrian
Age: 21
Rank: Weyrleader
Weyr: Renegade Camp Weyr
Gender:Male
Sexuality: heterosexual
Appearance:
Dalrian stands tall at 6'4'' tall. His body is lean and well muscled from 11 years of hard work as a soldier. Dal's skin is pale and smooth as silk except for a few dark scars criscrossing his back and shoulders. His hands are large and rough, also from his long years as a soldier, but still long and slender.
Dal has a cupidbow mouth and piercing blue green eyes that don't miss very much. His hair is a golden light color. It is to his shoulder at its longest point and feathers out at different angles and lengths to give it a more edgy stylish look.
His clothes are well fitted, and unlike some of his fellow renegades, they aren't threadbare. Usually in some kind of dark leather breeches, boots, and a close fitted shirt. When he goes on raids he wears the full getup just like his riders. Black leathers with steel playing inside protect him from the most infamous of Antaris’s denizens of destruction.
Personality:
+Charismatic, good leader, vigilant, kind, protective, honest, loyal
-Bit of a flirt, stubborn, headstrong, terrible when angry
Dalrian has a gift. People seem to have an easy confidence in him even when he doesn't know what he's doing. To his way of thinking, being a good leader is like being a good soldier. He will put on a brave confident face no matter the situation to keep his people from panick.
He's a good speaker, and though he isn't really eloquent he does command the attention of everyone he deals with. Most of the time around crowds he's usually quiet. Preferring to leave politics and interactions to others, he is perfectly content to be foremost in the action. His sword in his hand and fighting their enemies completes him.
He does have a bit of a flirtatious side to him that often got him in trouble in the past, and still does sometimes, but overall he is loyal to his weyrmate Eliitra. He has very... Protective feelings of the girl, and she warms his spirit. He allows himself to thaw slightly when he is with her, one of the few times it happens.
He can be very stubborn, refusing to listen to the council of others especially when it is something that effects his people. He will kill to protect those in his charge and not think twice about it.
Another negative point is his temper. It takes quite a bit to rile him. When it happens however... It's not an easy thing to endure... Or survive. Something several in antaris know all too well.

Bonded's Personality: Ansieth is very noble. He's your classic knight in shining armor. He's very protective of all under his charge, and being the king of the weyr at the moment, this means he is severely protective of every one of the renegades and their dragons.
Ansieth is a big dreamer. He dreams of one day breaking the Antaris oppression and bringing glory back to pern. He heard stories of what it was like before the Antaris came and longs for that simple life free of their oppression for his children and bretheren.
He is quite fierce. When this big guy gets angry, much like his rider, Its not really a safe place to be. He's violent and volatile with no qualms about throwing himself full on into the fight, shredding lives of his enemies with no mercy. When he does lose his temper, after he calms, he tends to seethe for hours afterward, reminding one of a crabby old man.
Over all, a dragon with a level head who knows his duty well. He does his best to take care of his Weyr and his Queens.
Bonded's Appearance:
Ansieth is a very LARGE greyscale. Coming in at 73 feet he almost hits the max measurements for his color. Not to mention his quite massive wingspan. The big greyscale is built for stamina, heavy muscles and a powerful frame, that somehow doesnt seem all that bulky for all his hugeness.
Ansieth ranges in color from almost perfect black along his wing joints and his neck and back between the wings, to a white silver .His wings and tail are tipped in the bright silver coloring with it fading to the black and darker grey. His right legs are also the same silver coloring while his left foreleg is the black coloration and his left rear leg is almost in between.
History
Dal was hold born and bred outside of antaris Holdings. The son of a soldier and weavecrafter, and an older brother. He spent most of his childhood immersed in the guard barracks and training areas learning everything he could. Battle strategies and weaponwork.he was a fast learner and at 15 worked his way into the hold guard, where he impressed some of the higher ups.
His little sister, desrai, attracted her own notice. At 13, when Dal was 16, she was taken by antaris for a candidate. She was excited in her innocence, but once she was there she was treated as beneath everyone else. She was murdered before standing, leading to dal's first rebellious act.
He gathered intel from the less than reputable contact network the soldiers sometimes used when a fujitive fled to the weyr. He was able to find out just who it was that orchestrated and committed her murder and took his time with them. Killing each one, leaving little messages for the others, inciting panic. When he finally got to the ringleader the young man had impressed to a crimson. The murder of a rider was what caught the attention of the renegades and he was taken for a candidate at 17.
He impressed at his first standing to the greyscale Ansieth, and quickly rose through the renegade's ranks. By 19 he was a wingleader. During one of the raids he hadn't been in command of, an enemy queen and rider had turned on her sisters and saved the lives of most of them, defaulting to their side. Since the girl's gold was the only ranking female that was old enough to rise, it was decided she would be the weyr woman of their own weyr.
Lots of men and women detested the girl, harboring a deep mistrust of her enemy roots. He, however, was there. He'd seen her need and desire to get away. She was every bit their prisoner as the comrades she had helped them to free. He took it upon himself to give her his support, acting as a buffer between the young queen and the animosity of the more... Vocal of their group.
When Beth flew, his Ansieth would brook no result other than to make the queen his own, and win her he did. For himself and His rider, he won Beth's flight, vaulting his into the position of Weyrleader and himself into position as beth's king.
