Description:
Allura is a very, very sweet young woman, and does everything she can to help those around her. She doesn’t talk much, and there are times when she will talk, and you won’t even know it because she was speaking so quietly. She is a shy person, and has a hard time meeting new people, and making friends. She is actually very loyal to just about everyone, except for those she perceives as mean, or rude. Something that might surprise a lot of people is that she is a very healthy eater, and ever since she was very little, she would always eat her fruits and vegetables without putting up much of a fuss, which I am sure was a blessing to her parents. She loves to fly, and be in the sky among the clouds, it gives her a sense of freedom that she just doesn’t feel whenever she is walking around on the ground.
Allura doesn’t like to fight, but knows it is her duty to help defend her home from those that would tear it apart. She also doesn’t like the color pink for some reason, no one really knows why, not even herself. One thing that makes this young woman sick is spoiled food, or food that hasn’t been prepared properly. Even though she typically eats just about anything, whenever she smells bad food she gets a queasy feeling in the pit of her stomach, and there have been times when she has passed out because of the smell. So she tries to avoid the kitchens until she knows that there will be good food waiting for her to devour it. Something that most people might consider a peculiar trait for a dragon rider is that she is afraid of death and thunder storms. She isn’t sure why she is afraid of those things, but tries to avoid them as much as possible. Which isn't always easy because of her career path.

Base: 388E8E Teal
Polka-Dots: 7FFFD4 Aquamarine
Bonded's Size in Feet: 48ft.
Bonded's Age: 3 Turns
Bonded's Personality:
Inith is a very sweet and gentle dragon who would prefer to walk through a field of flowers than fight a bug, but like her rider she knows her duty, and will do her best to help defend her home. She is fairly shy, but this trait becomes more prominent around male dragons she likes. When it comes to these males she has a hard time talking, and will often stutter, or mix up her words. So she tries to avoid them so she can’t embarrass herself. She has a motherly side, and likes to be around young dragons and humans alike. She is very good at keeping an eye on them, and also keeping them out of trouble. If she sees a little one about to get in trouble, she will most likely try to take the blame for it. Even if the little one in question actually needed to get scolded for what they did or not, although, if the reason a young one is getting in trouble is severe enough, she will stay out of the way, and let them get in trouble for what they did.
Bonded's Appearance:
Inith is a very large Teal dragon, with a typical teal hide that is speckled with aquamarine polka-dots all over it. When I say all over, I literally mean ALL over. The dots range in size from tiny to huge, the largest dots being on her wings and belly. Her face is covered with ity bitty dots, and the same thing with her tail. Though, the spots on her tail start of really small at the tip, and then the closer you get to the rest of her body, the bigger the dots get. The main thing that sets her apart from other dragons is that her front legs are the same length as her hind legs, which makes it easier for her to run around on the ground. Thankfully her wings are big enough that having these extra-long legs doesn’t really hinder her flying. Though, it does make her look a little funny when she is in the sky.
Mind-Voice:
Please Mine, let us go visit the little ones.
Inith's voice is sweet and extremely gentle on one's mind. It feels almost as though her voice is gently carresing your mind when she speaks to you, and it leaves you feeling like you've just been given a giant, warm hug. It also has a tendancy to leave a person feeling warm and fuzzy, and over all in a better mood than before.
History
Allura had lived in Renegade Camp Weyr her entire life, well…as far as she can remember she has anyways. In truth she didn’t come to live in Renegade Camp Weyr until she was twelve turns old. She was born on a little farm not far from Antaris, and lived there happily with her family for twelve turns. It was shortly after her twelfth birthday that her life was turned upside down. There was a severe thunder storm one night, unfortunately her and her father had been caught outside in the field when it hit. Her father was killed by a tree that fell because of the strong winds, thankfully she escaped with nothing more than memory loss and a very bad head wound. How she found her way to Renegade Camp Weyr is still a mystery, but thankfully they took her in, and healed the wound on her head.
Allura was unconscious for over a week after the healers bandaged up her head. The only thing she had to remind her of what had happened to her was a jagged scar behind her right ear. The healers had told her that she was lucky to be alive, and kept asking her if she could remember anything. The only thing she could remember was an image of a very pretty woman, and a handsome, yet grizzled man. Every time she tried to remember anything else, she started to get light headed, and has even fainted because of the strain she put on her mind. After three days of trying to remember where she came from, and who she was, everyone finally gave up, and just let her live in Renegade camp. One particularly nice healer gave her a name, a name that she’s had for seven turns.
Allura had been living in the Weyr, and helping as much as she could for four turns before she got her first chance to watch a dragon hatching. She was standing next the all the healers who were there to help any of the candidates in case they should get hurt. She was there holding some of the supplies they might need, and doing her best to stay out of the way when the hatching really did begin. She clapped and cheered for each of the candidates that impressed, and even the ones that didn’t impress, but remained unharmed. The hatching was almost finished with a very large teal dragon hatched. In her mind, that was the cutest dragon that had ever hatched. She smiled, and silently tried to will the young female to quickly find her rider, so that she could live a some-what happy life. But what happened next surprised just about everyone in attendance.
The large teal hatchling gave out a very loud, very happy bugle and then clumsily made her way over to where Allura was standing with the healers. One of the older healers gently pushed her forward towards the hatchling. She squeaked in surprise, and tripped over her own two feet which made her accidentally drop the healing supplies she had been holding. She fell down onto her hands and knees, and when she looked up, she was staring directly into the swirling rainbow gaze of the large teal female. Are you ok Allura? Your Inith was very worried when she saw you trip and fall. Hearing the sweet, soft voice of the hatchling made her realize that she had impressed to the large female. That realization had a tear falling from her eye, and a wide smile spreading across her face.
Allura quickly wrapped her arms around the teal’s spotted neck, and pulled her closer to her chest. Yes, I’m alright Inith. Her voice was a little shaky as more tears spilled from her eyes. Inith crooned and used her neck and head to give her rider a draconic hug. I am glad that you are alright, but why are you crying? Are you not happy with your Inith? Hearing the worry in her dragon’s voice made her gasp and quickly shake her head. I am very happy with you Inith, I’m crying because I am so happy to have you. She squeezed her dragon tightly before letting her go, and standing up. She dusted the sand off of her clothes, and gently scratched the teal’s eye ridges when she was finished. Let’s get you some food and then clean you up. Inith crooned, and happily bounced along beside her rider as they made their way over to the feeding area.
Weyrlinghood seemed to fly by for the two of them. They had attended almost every lesson, the only reason they missed the three that they did was because Allura had been sick, but they had been allowed to make it up after she was better, so they were allowed to graduate with the rest of their class. It was after they graduated that the fully severity of the war between Antaris and Renegade Camp Weyr hit the two of them. Both of them were very afraid, but they worked their hardest to make sure their home was safe. Thankfully everyone believed they were of more use guarding the Weyr from any intruders than they were actually fighting. So they had become the unofficial, official guards of the Weyr. The helped keep track of who came and went from the Weyr, and did everything they could to help keep things going as smoothly as possible.
