Renegade Camp Weyrhold

This group of dragonriders saw the mistreatment and degredation of Holders as wrong and thus decided it was time to stand up for them. There need to fight back against the sanctioned Weyrs only grew when Antaris took over all three of the Weyrs which were considered Legitimate and outside forces started to act - a new enemy appeared and an old one returned. What are they to do?

Antaris Weyr

Antaris Weyr started out as the first new Weyr on Pern when dragons failed to die off. They not only were the first, but they came to rule over Pern with an iron fist and look down on Holders as the holders had so long not provided for them. It was wrong in their eyes. Now they would treat them as they saw fit. They look down on any holdborn - including those who Impress. Not everyone at the Weyr is like this, but it is something passed from generation to generation and even taught to them as Weyrlings and Candidates in lessons. That holdborn are inferior. A holdborn queenrider will never be allowed to be a Weyrwoman.

Tarin Weyr

Tarin Weyr falls under Antaris' rule. It is, however, a bit miler than most. It holds the same standards that Antaris has set, but the Weyrwoman is secretly a Rebel sympathizer.

Mataris Weyr

A strict force in the world, Mataris will do as its parent, Antaris, does. Or so it's leadership will do as they are directed as they are smaller than Antaris and currently their Senior and only Queen is formerly an Antaris Junior Weyrwoman who still holds strong ties to Antaris.

The Blacklight Rebellion

The Blacklight Rebellion is not out to win the holders freedom but, simply put, to get out from under the thumb of Antaris and to make each of the Weyrs free of it. To rule themsleves and each Weyr to be ruled how they see fit. They don't really care about the holds, though the level of anti-holderism varies from Rider to rider. It is said that the real brain behind this particular outfit is a dragonless woman who was formerly the rider of an Antaris queen.
