Appearance: Of course, Siraphe’s build is quite similar to that of her sister. For one thing, both are rather tall, especially for women. Still, Siraphe is an inch shorter at 5’9”, though this doesn’t bother her much. Also like her sister, Sira has quite a few curves. She has a large bust and wide hips, but both of these are smaller than Seraphi’s. Also, unfortunately, Siraphe has a few of her sister’s more masculine traits, such as the broad shoulders. Since her hands are much smaller than her sister’s, she looks less boyish and more like an Amazonian woman in shape. Again, Siraphe is not as curvy, busty, tall, or powerful in build as her sister. Instead, she has touches of delicacy, regardless of her large and curvaceous build.
Her hair is much darker than Seraphi’s; in fact, it is such a dark brown that it appears to be black. During the winter, in fact, it looks exactly like black hair, unless it is inspected carefully under certain lights. During the summer it lightens up slightly and has a warmer tone to it. She wears her hair long, though not as long as her sister’s. When she wears it down, the majority of it reaches the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her bangs, however, are pushed to the side and reach just past her chin at the longest. She tends to wear her hair pulled up in the back, either in a bun, a single ponytail, or a clip. She seems to like hair accessories quite a bit, and often has some pinned around her bangs.
Unlike Seraphi, Siraphe is rather pale in color. During the summer, her skin takes on a subtle blush, but during the winter it is nearly white. It seems almost delicate, as do her facial features. Her eyes are a darker color than her sisters, nearly black in color. She has a tiny, gentle nose and a small, tightly-drawn mouth. Her eyebrows are often arched lightly over her eyes. Her expression is usually apathetic, her lashes flickering lazily over half-lidded eyes. She often looks rather bored.
Personality: Seraphi has a big personality, but Siraphe is rather the opposite. As a young child, she was thought to be shy, though this is far from the case. She is relatively quiet, though. She tends to observe and takes measures not to draw attention to herself. The reason is not that she is shy, however. Instead, she is simply manipulative. If she sees an opportunity, she will act on it. She doesn’t seem to care if she hurts someone in the process. In fact, she seems somewhat sadistic, especially emotionally. She enjoys seeing others in pain, and a part of her actually feeds off of it.
To the untrained eye, Siraphe seems withdrawn and polite. She rarely offers anything to a conversation, and prefers to listen. She remembers nearly everything she hears, and stores it in her mind in case it becomes useful. Almost always, Sira is impersonal and coolly courteous. When she is offensive, she is usually indirect about it. She will subtly hint about someone’s stupidity, for example, which may in fact go right over the person’s head. Although she rarely gets angry, she is not incapable of such emotion. She only becomes colder at this time, and will verbally attack others. At this point, she is not as subtle, though she make keep it somewhat elusive. Every insult is well-placed and meant to hurt, aimed directly at the person’s insecurities and weaknesses. She is a professional at lowering self-esteem, and may even do this imperceptibly over time to someone she does not like but does not hate.
Oh, Siraphe knows exactly how to hurt others. She has spent time studying the mind, and knows what affects the general psyches. She is also quite skilled at discovering each person’s weakness and sensitive spots, and keeps this information stored in case she ever needs it. Siraphe is quite vicious, though never violent. She has far too much pride and intelligence to do something as animalistic and impulsive as that. She has complete control over her emotions and body, and actually has the ability to drain her mind of emotions. It is best when her mind is perfectly clear, and she strives to keep it this way whenever possible. Her lack of emotion is obvious, and she seems both apathetic and cold.
Although she is not ambitious, this is not to say she isn’t manipulative. She is not the type to strive for rank of any sort, but if she sees something that may benefit her, she moves in. In other words, if she sees that a rank will serve her purposes, she will weasel her way into it, but otherwise she has no interest in such trivial matters. Even if it doesn’t benefit her, she may manipulate others simply for the fun of it. It is amusing to see what she can make others do, after all. It is also fun to have others wrapped around her finger, even if she has nothing to make them do. Siraphe is not above using her body to take advantage of others, and is even a bit of a seductress. She finds others are more than willing to do her bidding after wrestling in the furs, after all. She also realizes that a man is often more willing to do something for her if she is wearing a low-cut shirt.
Siraphe really doesn’t care for many people. She is not afraid to hurt anyone, after all, but does care deeply for her sister. This is not to say she shows it. In fact, she is a very nonphysical person. Sure, she can tolerate placing her hand on another person if it gets her somewhere, but she generally does not like touch of any kind. It simply feels uncomfortable to her, and it doesn’t help that each person has their own disgusting germs. Siraphe is extremely clean, and known to wash her hands hourly and shower a few times a day. Similarly, she is organized, and keeps all of her items catalogued and stored by item type, size, and color. As one may guess, she strives for routine, preferring to have things predictable. After all, when she knows what will happen next, she is better able to plan.
This woman plans nearly everything out, right down to the finer details. She is quite intelligent, of course, and likes to describe herself as a scheming genius. She takes much pride in this. As one might assume, she is rather arrogant and vain as well. She thinks quite highly of herself, and has a bit of a superiority complex. She can be a bit bossy, as she enjoys making others do her bidding. When necessary, she can be quite intimidating, with a cruel gleam in her eye that threatens punishment. She does not like to be kept waiting, so it is important that anyone working with her keep her impatience in mind.
When needed, Siraphe takes on different personas. She can pretend to act in nearly any way to get her way. She also may do this simply to amuse herself. It makes her feel quite proud of herself to make others think that she is a certain type of person. Of course, there may be overlaps in this, but if someone catches her in it…she doesn’t really care. In fact, she doesn’t care much about anything at all.
History
Siera was a greenrider, and Aphien was a wherhandler, living in Antaris weyr. Regardless of their environment, the two had a quaint and quiet lifestyle. When Siera became pregnant, both were happy. They were graced with two healthy little girls. The twins were quite beautiful, and their life seemed almost charmed. From the start, it became apparent that the twins were rather different in many ways, and yet quite similar. While both had similar builds, Siraphe was always darker in hair color yet lighter in skin color. Seraphi was always a bold, energetic girl, with quite a few quirks, while Siraphe was quiet and reclusive with what seemed like a smoothed out personality. (Of course, as turns passed it seemed that Siraphe was more of the scheming genius than the quiet girl they had assumed she was.)
Regardless of their differences, the twins were very close. While most nicknamed them 'Sera' and 'Sira,' they had their own nicknames for each other...'Fi' and 'Fey.' They seemed to share a secret language, able to communicate non-verbally. It was as if they knew each other more than anyone could ever know them...and in a way, that was quite true. After all, they spent every waking moment together for most of their childhood. Although Seraphi was a friendly girl, Siraphe was quite the recluse. She only opened up to her sister, looking down on all other interactions. Not only were the two sisters, they were also best friends.
From the start, however, it seemed that Seraphi was a bit different: she was interested in females. Before Siraphe even began to show the faintest interest in males, Seraphi was off admiring the girls around the weyr. This caused their parents a bit of unease. Of course, neither considered themselves homophobic, but they had not considered the possibility that one of their lovely little girls would turn to other females, rather than continuing their rich and proud heritage, especially in this world where a dragonrider's lineage was so important. Eventually, the two came to terms with it, and continued to love their daughters for who they were.
Both parents were overjoyed when Keyvetarth, Seira's green, searched both girls. Although, as weyrbrats, they had the right to stand, it was important to Seira that her own dragon dubbed them potential riders. The two moved to the candidate barracks, though neither Impressed right away. Seraphi was sure that she'd Impress a male dragon. After all, she was a bit masculine herself. Siraphe wasn't quite as sure, about that or anything else. At the age of seventeen, Seraphi would Impress, but not Siraphe. Siraphe was happy for her sister and the adorable green that she Impressed, but couldn't help feeling somewhat resentful.

-Gender Preference? I prefer female, but if you can make male work, that's fine. There's just something about her that screams female to me, but then again, Seraphi screamed male.
-Any colors or patterns would you like to see? I have a slight preference against green, since I have two, but since it's game start and I hate having preferences on gamestart, feel free to ignore this.
