Description:
Draist is sixteen turns old, and it shows in the cocky way he stands, and moves. He is five foot nine, and weights a hundred and forty-two pounds. He has a small build for a man, but it is obvious where his weight comes from. This young man has muscles popping out all over the place, and he has long, well-muscled legs that make up most of his height as well. He might not be as tall as most males his age, and a lot of people can’t believe that he’s as muscled as he is because he was born a weyrbrat. Most weyrbrats are spoiled, and don’t look like they’ve been working every minute of their lives. He has dirty blonde colored hair that is surprisingly well taken care of. That being said he cleans his hair more than he cleans himself. He tries to take baths every other night, but no matter what he has scheduled, he washes his hair EVERY day. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, it’s almost like an obsession that he shows no signs of changing.

Description:
Draist is a very vain young man, and is almost just as cocky. He loves his hair, and believes that his hair is his crowing feature. So far he has yet to be proven wrong as well. Most girls like him because of his hair, and his muscles, which doesn’t really help his vanity. He is pretty lecherous, and really enjoys chasing after pretty girls. He doesn’t like doing chores, or cleaning, but if he is assigned a chore that involves working with dragons, he jumps and becomes very excited. Ever since he was a little boy, he has loved dragons with a passion, and wants to devote his life to one of the large beasts. He can typically be found hanging out with his friends, and having a good time. He has been described as being the life of the party at times, and his smile is contagious, so if you don’t want to end up smiling, avoiding him would be your best bet.
History
Draist is the product of a male dragon rider who had lost a dragon’s flight. His mother was a very young drudge who had no idea what to do with a child, so as soon as he was born; he was left with the rest of the weyrbrats. His mother never came to visit him, and it never really bothered him. If she didn’t want to see him, then he didn’t want to see her. It was just that simple in his mind. The only thing he had ever known of his father was that he was a brown rider, and from what he was able to dig up on the man, he didn’t even know that Draist’s mother had gotten pregnant with him. He didn’t blame the man at all for never knowing he was there, instead he looked up to the man, and as he got older his love for dragons grew, and at one point, it was all the young boy could talk about.
Draist became a candidate a little after he turned eleven turns old, and has practically devoted his life to impressing a dragon just like his father. He doesn’t really care what color he gets, but something that he tells everyone is that he hopes, with all of his might, that he doesn’t get a female. He doesn’t like to do his chores, but he attends every lesson, and does his best to prove himself worthy of impressing a dragon. So far there have been no clutches at Antaris, but he hopes that there will be a clutch warming on the sands soon, so that he may see just how successful he would be at impressing. He knows he still has a few years before he ages out of candidacy, and he prays every night before he goes to bed that impresses well before then. But one can never predict the future of dragon clutches.
